TIPS FOR BETTER IMAGES
First of all I would like to tell you if yo u are not shooting in RAW ,then now is the time to start. This will allow you the latitude to work with your images in the highest resolution of your cameras capability and with just a basic knowledge of photoshop or Lightroom you can have the most beautiful photos with very little manipulation or time .
I would suggest that you do not crop your photo until all the photo editing has been done If you have to crop the image do not and I repeat do not crop with the resolution determined. I will explain. If you want to crop for an 20x25 sixe print then crop at the ratio but leave the resolution blank. This way you are not losing any pixels you are only cropping to image to a fixed ratio. If you then want to resize to let's say 300 dpi ( which is the preferred dots per inch) size for printing then do so but save AS a copy. And your original large cropped will not ruined in case you want to print a larger copy like a 30x 40 also, it is always a good habit of leaving a 'bleed' area ,meaning add a little bit more to your crop so that it leaves about 2-3 mm for cutting or framing your picture so you don't lose that precious perfect crop.
COLOR SPACE SETTTINGS
If you are going to print your image on metal or us on a website or make a photo lab print then you should make the settings in your camera and your RAW photoshop or Lightroom software to sRBG . If you are sending image to a newspaper or printing press then your settings should be RGB.

METAL PRINT DISCLAIMER
Metal prints are printed on sheets of aluminum. The aluminum sheets have a coating applied. There may be small divots or bumps in the metal due to the manufacturing/fabrication of the metal or the process of applying the special coating to the metal.
We inspect the sheets carefully for imperfections. Where possible, we will not include these imperfections in the print. Where not possible, we will position the imperfection in the least obtrusive part of the image.
We cannot remake prints due to these imperfections. These are part of the normal manufacturing process.
Square corner prints are considered standard. These corners can be sharp and should be handled with care. When displaying square corner metal prints, make sure these prints are hung securely.
When moving or storing multiple metal prints, do not place the prints metal face-to-metal face.
